Sinagtala Farm Resort: the best escape from the maddening rush of the city

Find out why Sinagtala Farm Resort is the best place to stay in Orani, Bataan to escape the hustle and bustle of Manila. What are the Mud Huts? Why are guests obsessed about the resort's giant swing?

Sinagtala Resort is a premium resort in Orani, Bataan that offers its guests accommodation and facilities in complete sync with nature, fitted with modern amenities.

This farm resort is surrounded by the lush greenery of the Bataan National Park. With majestic mountain ranges in its backdrop and the natural symphony of birds and wildlife, the wonderful atmosphere in this 60-hectare resort refreshes and rejuvenates the mind and body.

The Duyan House has 25 rooms each with its own pool, garden, and a children's playground.

Accommodation

The resort offers comfortable and spacious villas, bed and breakfast houses, and interesting mud huts for accommodation. I was able to check these properties in the recently held Behold Bataan Familiarization Tour with bloggers, media, and tour operators from Central Luzon.

All villas have a front porch which provides a fantastic view of the surroundings.

Labuyo Villas

Appropriately priced, beautifully decorated with comfortable beds and clean bathrooms, the resort's accommodation will provide all the relief and relaxation you need.

Facilities

The resort offers facilities such as a restaurant and a cafe, a chapel, an activity room, reading lounge, meditation points, outdoor infinity pools, and an adventure park.

With its facilities, accommodation, and ample grounds, Sinagtala is a perfect venue for weddings, retreats, family outings and corporate seminars and team-building events.

Where to eat

There is no need to leave the property when you get hungry. You can check out the lip-smacking dishes at the Sinagtala Restaurant and the Tampay Cafe.

Sinagtala Restaurant serves scrumptious local cuisine with a wide selection of soups, noodles, grilled and sizzling dishes at reasonable prices.

The Tampay Cafe, on the other hand, serves great coffee, pastries and light meals. The resort claims this cafe to "delight even the most discriminating taste-buds".

Activities to try

While you can choose to relax and do nothing in this resort, there are plenty of activities to try—some might even give you an adrenaline rush!

Having the entire infinity pool to myself
The resort has three infinity pools. Choose whichever you want to enjoy!

or not really

Aside from the infinity pools, guests can have the use of hiking trails, river treks and access to the Sinagtala Adventure Park where exciting onsite activities such as zip-lines, giant swings, and suspended air bridges await.

These activities are all located within the confines of a lush mountainous rainforest environment.

Lucky me, I was able to try all the activities. The most that I liked is the giant swing.
