For those of you who know me, you'd probably think I like Salad Bar PH because I am a fitness freak. It maybe true. But more than that, I want to share five notable reasons why I love Salad Bar PH and why I recommend you try it too!

As I grow older, I have become more conscious of what I eat. I try to let go of my fast food fancies and other junks I binge on. Of course, there would be times I would indulge in sweets or oily or fatty food, because they are, well, very tasty and just comforting, but if I can choose a meal I can consume day to day, I would be on the healthier side. Plus points if it is affordable and tasty!

Before our trip to Camarines Norte, I got to try SaladBar PH. Truth be told it was my first time to try it but as I get to know about the company, and got to taste their tasty salad platters, I got hooked!

So here are five reasons why I love SaladBar PH:

1. The ingredients SaladBar PH use for their salad are certified healthy and fresh

The fruits, vegetables, grains, brad crumbs, dressing - all the ingredients of Salad Bar - they all undergo best-in-class sourcing, handling, assorting, and preparing. I am at peace to think that these ingredients are properly handled and prepared from "farm to platter". One great cause of food poisoning is the improper food handling so it matters how the food is being handled and prepared by the seller.

2. It offers delivery service

The SaladBar PH understands the busyness of our life. As stated in their mission:

SaladBar aims to improve the quality of life of professionals by making fresh and quality fruits and vegetables accessible to them.

SaladBar PH wants the healthy food accessible to professionals who tend to neglect the importance of healthy diet and prefer fast food due to their pressed. If you think about it, not a lot of food shops deliver slow-cooked meals or vegetable salad to customers. But SaladBar PH does! It delivers around Makati area. It is very easy to order online and ask for delivery.

3. It is affordable

It is very important that the healthy food we consume daily is affordable. If not, we'd be healthy but broke. Usually, healthy food such as organic vegetables are costly and in most cases tasty salads too. But at SaladBar PH, you'd get healthy salad that's not only tasty but affordable as well.

4. It accepts credit card or payment through Paypal

Another plus point for this salad bar because it accepts credit card and pay pal payments. How convenient is this for freelancers or people who have their Paypal funds?! I am happy that SaladBar has adapted this modern system of payment. I hope in the future the beep card would also be usable for a purchase!

5. It helps Filipinos

SaladBar envisions to be the nationwide leader in providing healthy food selections for professionals through their retail stores, distribution channels, and corporate programs. Clearly, SaladBar PH helps Filipinos by providing a business platform for those who want to start a (healthy) business.

About Salad Bar PH

SaladBar started its operations in 2013 at the food court of PBCom Tower. This is the branch where I first tried my salad platter. From "the humble dreams of two high school friends" who have decided to put up their own business after realizing the lack of healthy food choices in offices, now they have several more branches across the different food courts in Makati, thereby providing more and more office workers the access to quality healthy food choices.

"Although the company is relatively young, its passion to continue the mission to help improve the quality of life of the professionals through the company’s product offering burns. It also continues to reach its vision of being the nationwide leader in providing healthy food selections for professionals through our retail stores, distribution channels, and corporate programs... SaladBar aims to be the nationwide leader in providing healthy food selections for professionals through our retail stores, distribution channels, and corporate programs. It also aims to improve the quality of life of professionals by making fresh and quality fruits and vegetables accessible to them." (SaladBar PH Website)

How much is a salad platter at SaladBar PH?

The price starts at P30! I'm serious! You can have your salad for P30 per 100 grams. But of course I recommend you fill your container to its full!

So I filled mine and weighed my selection, I got it for 190 pesos. But if you check what is inside my container, I feel the price should be more: a lot of lettuce base, two slices of ripe mango, a cheek of peach, lychee, grapes, papaya, parmesan, nuts, macaroni... not to mention the reusable container!
