We don’t have Starbucks in Angono but we sure have Don Antonio’s Café. That’s right! A Café owned by Don Antonio! Kidding J (I’m not sure about the identity of Don Antonio by the way).
For rice meals I would recommend Cordon bleu or Adobo flakes (Php 80??). I forgot the price! Waaah!
The first time I tried that café was April of 2008. I remembered because I went there with my 2 best friends and Harvey. LOL. I needed to give him an impression so I took him to something nice and (not so) original in our home town.
After work I sometimes drop by the café to buy creamy Carbonara that’s too good for Php 60. I also order Coffee float (served with vanilla ice cream on top) for Php 90—almost half the price of Starbucks frapp—practical choice for coffee addicts (like me). Pesto Breadsticks (at Php 22) and salad (Php150) are also in my usual list.
That’s for me.
If you wanna booze and smoke with your friends over the weekend, Don Antonio’s also a great choice. You can hang out there, fill your bod with alcohol and just freely let the fun out of your system. The area is open you can definitely do that. On the downside, the area gets crowded too easily because of the small space. If my memory is correct I guess they have 8-9 tables, good for 2-4 people per table. If all else fails, you can always dine out. Hehe
There’s also a small washroom inside so you can do your business there in the middle or after a nice meal.
If you visit Angono, Rizal don’t forget to go to Don Antonio’s café just around the corner across from the municipal health center next to the town plaza. They serve delectable foods at reasonable price; the taste won’t disappoint your wallet.
